Our volunteers are a big part of the DARF team. You can volunteer as much or as little as you would like - we value any contribution you make. We want you to enjoy volunteering, so there are a variety of ways in which you can help and share your unique skills with Dignity Alert & Research Forum in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or around Scotland.

Current Voluntary Positions

Finance Assistant

The finance assistant will support the treasurer by reconciling accounts, preparing monthly management reports, and assisting with end of year tasks.

Volunteer Speaker

If you enjoy giving talks and presentations, and can talk with passion to audiences both large and small, then you should consider speaking for DARF.It's an interesting and varied role which could see you speaking to everyone from a local group, to local authority organisations.

Volunteer Coordinator

We are looking for an individual to be a central point of contact and coordination for the management of our team of volunteers.

Fundraising Coordinator

Your main goal will be to increase financial contributions from individuals, groups and trusts.This is a long-term ongoing need.A key element of this fundraising effort will be building successful relationships and networking to raise the profile of DARF and awareness of its work and goals.

Marketing and Communications Administrator

A marketing and communications administrator will provide administrative support for DARF and will drive marketing and PR activity including media relations, supporter updates and internal communications.

Program Support Volunteer

We are looking for a volunteer to support the program officer.The key responsibilities will be:
·- To provide administrative support
·- Support sourcing of voluntary activities
·- Maintain and monitor accurate records
